Last night in Oregon

I spent my last night in Oregon out at the coast. This is only a 1 hour drive from Corvallis, Oregon. I was hoping to watch the sunset over the ocean, but there were too many clouds to see anything. I still had a great time. While I was out there I stopped at the Devil's Punchbowl. I went to a couple spots on the beach to film myself juggling 5 balls for a video I am making. I want to juggle 5 balls all around the world and then produce a video of all the places I've juggled.

I stopped at a light house that I visited once with my parents so I could juggle in front of that. I figure that the light house is a pretty good landmark of the Oregon coast to have in the video. While I was there, I met a park service person named Jamie who is doing an internship for park services and adventure travel and is from Hawking College in Ohio. Jamie spent the last 6 months in Hawaii on an internship there and loves to travel. She was very interested in my juggling around the world video and we had a nice talk about travel. The park was about to close so Jamie drove me down to the tide pools for a quick look. There happened to be a bay seal there laying on the rocks.

Earlier, I was able to see a whale, so this was a good wild animal watching trip by my standards. Unfortunately, I did not think to take a picture of the whale (was a bit too far away for my camera anyway), the bay seal, or the park service intern. That means you have to take my word for it. ;-)
