Kids Club Bonding Pt. 2

We left the bar for the venue near midnight. I don't remember the name of the DJ or of the hotel we were at. The hotel was very nice as you will see in some of these photos.

When we arrived to the entrance to the hotel's dance club, Tony began getting dizzy and such. Yurij was busy trying to convince Tony that he wasn't too dizzy to go inside. Yurij and I thought this was a good opportunity for a photograph... Tony disagreed. Tony wound up going home, and the rest of us went in.

These are some red lamps on the outside of the club entrance. These gave the atmosphere an interesting feel. There's even some kind of green lamp in the background.

This was a restaurant's name. It's called Sirocco. I found it interesting that the lettering used for the name was based on Arabic script. I studied Arabic before coming to Korea and recognized it right away. The problem is, Arabic is written and read right to left and the symbol used for "r" in this name is not an Arabic letter. So, the Arabic makes no sense.

This was the best photo I took from inside during the show. I thought that the lights danced better than the Koreans.

I saw a few guys in suits hanging around and felt compelled to find out what they were doing there. They just didn't look like they belonged. It turns out that they were international corporate attorneys working out of Hong Kong, here on business. The Korean woman was flirting with one of the attorneys before this photo was taken.

After the DJ at the hotel finished at 3am, I realized I was really far from home and the trains didn't start up again until 5:30am. So I introduced myself to some other English teachers who were on their way to another part of Seoul to keep having fun. We wound up going into a basement dance club where this DJ played some really loud and fast paced techno. I danced there until 8am when they closed.

What a night! Kids Club Bonding night will be a fond memory for years to come.
